DC Police Give New Meaning To The Phrase "Locked and Loaded"

Opportunity for professional development is important to any worker, government or not. Advanced police training is a good idea. Even sending DC officers to sunny Miami for training makes some sense... not as much sense as sending them to the first class FBI facility at Quantico right next door in Virginia, but hey we're talking about liberals here so the po-po deserve junkets too... But when the first thing those police do is get loaded on their lunch break drinking Schooners of beer (schooner volume = small bucket) on the public nickel when they were there for handgun and high-risk boat boarding training, you gotta wonder if Chief Ramsey is asleep at the wheel. But we know Chief Ramsey isn't always asleep at the wheel because he was nowhere near the wheel when his personal police cruiser was stolen from outside his house a while back. Drunken handgun training actually sounds kinda fun - if they can remember anything they were taught, but even better was the DC Harbor Patrol trip to Phoenix!
